HOSTESS STYLE CUPCAKES
Whip up a dozen chocolate cupcakes filled with cream, covered in chocolate icing and decorated with iconic loops that kids of all ages will love!
SKILLS LEARNED: Proper cake mixing techniques, using a pastry bag for filling and basic decoration.
TARTS & PIES
Create a double-crust apple pie or a perfect lemon tart you’d be proud to serve for any occasion.
SKILLS LEARNED: How to make a flakey crust, build a pie, and techniques for flawless blind baking.
SWEET & SAVORY SCONES
Craft two types of scones with fruit and cheeses that are perfect for many breakfasts to come.
SKILLS LEARNED: Mixing and shaping dough, measuring, pastry technique for “cutting in” butter, and baking times.
CREAM PUFFS & CHURROS
Make classic cream puffs using pâte à choux dough with a custard filling that will leave you saying, “Oui!” As an added bonus, you'll also make mouthwatering churros, "Olé !"
SKILLS LEARNED: Pipe and bake perfect cream puffs and fill them using a piping bag.
Knead and bake a large loaf of Challah bread that’s delicious with butter or can be used for making French toast or bread pudding.
SKILLS LEARNED: Kneading, braiding, proofing and using a thermometer to check for proper doneness.
